I offer a culturally aware, holistic approach to therapy, grounded in empathy, acceptance, and respect. With a Master of Counselling and experience supporting people with disabilities, I am passionate about helping individuals feel truly seen and heard as they work towards their goals. I believe every person has the capacity to grow and learn, and I meet each client where they are—without judgement. Using evidence-based approaches tailored to your unique needs, I provide a safe, supportive space for meaningful change. To me, counselling isn’t just for times of crisis. It can be a powerful tool for learning more about yourself, improving communication, and becoming more present in your relationships. Counselling can also support you in building confidence, developing resilience, and strengthening social skills. Therapy can be a place to grow, reflect, and reconnect—with yourself and others.

Why the Spoony community matters to me
As a counsellor, my practice is grounded in empathy, cultural awareness, and a deep respect for the lived experiences of every individual. I am particularly passionate about supporting people with disabilities and chronic illnesses to feel seen, heard, and empowered in working towards their goals. That’s why the Spoony community is so important to me. Spoony represents a much-needed alternative in the online space—a stigma-free, safer platform that prioritises inclusion, understanding, and meaningful connection. By allowing users to display their ‘spoons’ status, the app gives voice to the daily energy limitations and invisible realities faced by many. This simple yet powerful feature fosters kindness, reduces assumptions, and supports more authentic, respectful interaction—something traditional platforms have often failed to do. Too often, people navigating chronic illness, disability, or neurodivergence face misunderstanding, social exclusion, or toxic online environments. Spoony changes that. It offers a community where individuals don’t have to explain or justify their needs constantly, where they can connect with others who truly understand, and where they can access professionals who respect their journey. To me, counselling is not only about addressing crisis—it’s a pathway to greater self-awareness, better communication, and stronger relationships. Platforms like Spoony are invaluable in this work. They complement therapeutic support by building social confidence, resilience, and community in ways that are safe and empowering. Spoony’s commitment to robust moderation, user wellbeing, and inclusivity echoes the core values of my practice. I believe this kind of innovation has the potential to transform how we care for, connect with, and support one another—and I’m excited to be part of a future where everyone has the space and support to thrive.
