Frequently Asked Questions
For customers
What is Spoony?
Spoony is an online platform that helps you find and connect with qualified health and wellbeing providers. You can browse profiles, filter by your preferences, and book appointments — all in one place.
Who are the providers on Spoony?
All providers are qualified health and wellbeing professionals. They set their own rates, availability, and services. Spoony simply helps you find and connect with them.
Is Spoony a healthcare provider?
No — Spoony is a technology platform. We don’t employ providers or offer services ourselves. We connect you with qualified professionals so you can choose the right fit for your needs.
How do I book a session?
Create an account, find a provider that suits your preferences (location, availability, access needs, etc.), and book directly through the platform.
How do I reschedule or cancel a booking?
You can contact our support team and they’ll help you make any changes.
What is the cancellation policy?
You can cancel for free up to 48 hours before your booking. If you cancel within 48 hours, the booking is non-refundable.
How do payments work?
You’ll pay securely via Stripe at the time of booking.
Can I claim my consult through my private health insurance?
If you're covered for that particular service, yes. Your receipt will provide you with the details needed to easily make a claim through your health fund.
Can I get a refund?
If you're unsatisfied with a session, reach out to the provider first. If the issue isn’t resolved within 14 days, you can contact us and we’ll look into it.
For practitioners
Who can list their services on Spoony?

Do I need to be registered with a professional body?
Yes. You must hold the necessary qualifications, insurances, and registrations required to practice legally in your field.

You’re in control. You can update your availability, pricing, and appointment types (e.g. in-person, telehealth) anytime through your listings page.
Does Spoony integrate with my Practice Management Software or calendar?
Not yet, but it’s coming soon! We're actively working on integrations with popular Practice Management Software and calendar tools to make it easier for you to manage bookings and client communication in one place. Stay tuned — and if there’s a specific platform you'd like us to support, let us know!
