Banyan Tree Counselling
After spending most of my career in a corporate setting, I’ve transitioned into a more purposeful and values-driven profession—counselling. My other passion in life is travelling and I have been fortunate enough to visit many countries over the years. I am passionate about travelling because it continually opens my mind to new perspectives and ways of life. Each journey offers a deeper understanding of different communities and fosters a genuine appreciation for the unique beauty within every culture. I find great joy in connecting with people from diverse backgrounds, discovering the values and traditions that shape their lives. Travel, for me, is more than seeing new places — it is about building empathy, expanding awareness, and celebrating our shared humanity. I also have a Siamese cat; he was the only one left of a litter not adopted because he had behavioural problems, so I decided to take him in and whilst it did take two years for him to truly trust and accept me, it was well worth it. He is now bonded to me, and we have many conversations in the evenings while he snuggles up next to me or on my head.
