Yu Sung

Hi! My name is Yu Sung (She/Her)- I was born and raised in a multicultural country, Malaysia, and is now practicing as a counsellor in the vibrant Melbourne. Previously, I have supported adolescents, young adults, and parents with problems such as body image, loneliness, friendships, family, intergenerational trauma, anxiety, and more. I am trauma-informed, queer, and culturally aware- I am here for individuals who feel invisible/ ostracized by the bigger environment and want to work on their inner wounds. In my practice, I believe in dynamic integration of various counselling models to support my client's self-discovery and healing as I see the therapeutic space as a ground for collaborative exploration rather than a "one-size-fits-all" treatment. I strive to provide a safe, reflective space for you to open up and dive into things that you do not understand about yourself! Oh and in my free time, I love a good matcha, collecting trinkets, taking a stroll, and indulging in horror/thriller movies :)
