Sarah Hayden
I am a proud neurodivergent woman (late diagnosed ADHD), a mum to five children (including world renowned actor, autism advocate and author Chloe Hayden), and wife to a neurodivergent man. I am also the author of 'Parenting Different - how to raise your neurodivergent kids to be their authentic, awesome selves.' I am passionate about providing support to parents and neurodivergent individuals and couples and my practice is neuro affirming at all times - I don't see we need to be 'fixed' rather supported to celebrate our differences. I am also the mother to two adopted children and have a special interest in the adoption and fostering communities, having fostered 55 children prior to adopting. I have battled endometriosis my whole life so also understand the impacts an invisible disability can bring to your life.

Why the Spoony community matters to me
I believe in finding communities that support and understand you - that provide accessible care that bridge the gap and find affirming therapists that you are in control of choosing. I love that it empowers you to find the therapist you feel a connection with, to see their photo and choose the way to work with them that suits you from anywhere across Australia and in a way that you feel comfortable with. This is neuro affirming practice!
