Why the Spoony community matters to me
As a disabled person myself, the Spoony community is my community, and the community I created Illuminating Insights to support and serve.
Qualifications
I have lived with disability in the form of Cerebral Palsy my whole life. I have professional qualifications in social work and peer support, and have undertaken further training in topics including suicide prevention, trauma awareness and mental health, among others. My professional experience spans 10+ years working across the disability and mental health sectors in Australia with people of all ages, from primary school students to older adults, and all in between, both individually and in group settings, in person and online.
