Sandra Nguyen
In my work as a counsellor within both the disability sector and my own private practice, I bring not only clinical expertise but also a deep commitment to creating a safe, culturally informed, and inclusive space for every individual I support. I specialise in working with NDIS participants and am particularly passionate about helping clients explore their emotional wellbeing, cultural identity, and relationships. My approach is grounded in genuine compassion, deep listening, and a strong belief in each person's capacity for growth and empowerment, regardless of the challenges they face.

Why the Spoony community matters to me
Being part of the Spoony community has been profoundly healing in my own journey. It reminds me that, even as a therapist, I’m not alone in my struggles. Connecting with others who understand the challenges of mental health helps ease feelings of isolation and fosters a genuine sense of belonging. I truly believe that healing doesn’t happen in isolation, it happens through connection. Community reflects our experiences back to us and provides a safe space for growth. It's in those shared moments of vulnerability and support that real resilience is built.
