Since 2018, Support Suite has provided person-centred, individualised, confidential counselling and coaching sessions for people with disability, their families and carers, including paid and informal carer supports. At Support Suite, we believe that every individual has the capacity to achieve a happy and fulfilling life. Our mission is to provide quality, specialised counselling and mental health support to people with disability, their families and carers. To achieve this for our clients we aim to provide quality, evidence based and person centred counselling support. Why the Spoony community matters to me

I am thrilled to be part of a community that is collaborative and prioritises belonging, connection and mental health. I have been passionate about supporting people with disability for over 30 years. I have worked alongside people from a variety of different disability backgrounds including intellectual disability, autism, cerebral palsy, Down Syndrome, ADHD and psychosocial disability. I understand that it is not the disability that defines a person but each persons’ unique strengths, abilities and talents. Sometimes we just need a little support in order to let our true capabilities shine, and that’s where counselling or coaching can help.

Qualifications

My qualifications include: Master of Health Science (Developmental Disability), Diploma and Graduate Certificate of Counselling, Graduate Certificate of Community Management.
