Hi. I'm a trauma-sensitive and diversity-informed practitioner with a gentle and respectful style. My work is grounded in human rights, inclusion, and health equity. I have worked in many areas of health and wellbeing. This includes psychotherapy for mental health concerns such as anxiety, depression and social anxiety; support during crisis or acute mental health episodes; psychosocial support for more severe and persistant mental health issues and disability; long-term trauma recovery and healing. I support people across different stages of healing and growth, of any orientation, identity or neurotype. I integrate a range of evidence-based therapies, including: -Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) -Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), including ACT for Youth and ACT for ADHD -Trauma-Focused ACT -Compassion-Focused Therapy -Mindful Self-Compassion -Motivational Interviewing -Positive Psychology -Humanistic Psychology I use these tools to help people build on their strengths, grow self-compassion, and move toward a life that reflects their values and what truly matters to them. I understand the importance of working at your pace and honouring your lived experience. I also keep a strong focus on wellbeing and preventing burnout.
