I graduated from the University of Greenwich in 2019 as an integrative counsellor, a course that was accredited by the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), and founded About Turn Counselling. During my studies I had placements with the National Health Service on the Veterans Transition, Intervention and Liaison service; also Mind a UK charity that offered affordable, low cost, counselling. In 2022 I relocated to Australia with my family and became a Level 2 member of the Australian Counselling Association (ACA). My client base, both here and in the UK, has been varied and open to all members of the community. I do specialise in working with those who are neurodivergent and also members of the armed forces community, veterans and their families. Many clients I see have been diagnosed with a neurodiverse condition from autism to ADHD, OCD to Tourette's. As part of my professional membership I am required to have a minimum of 10 hours of Supervision per year and a minimum of 25 Continued Professional Development points. I undertook a 3 day course with Evergreen Certifications and am a Certified Professional Autism Spectrum Disorder Clinical Specialist.

Why the Spoony community matters to me

My son was diagnosed with Level 2 ASD after breaking his arm 2 years ago. Since then I have worked with children, teens and adults who are neurodiverse work through emotional and behavioural challenges.
