Narrative Healing

Kerrie is an certified counsellor with several decades working with diverse people with complex needs and limiting beliefs. Her ongoing education and long held dream to give back by providing a service that is affordable and self determined is the founder of Narrative Healing. She has dedicated her career to supporting people with complex behaviours that impacted development and their ability to thrive and form healthy relationships. The conversations we have together lay the groundwork for your therapeutic journey and with your motivation​,​ counselling is most effective when you identify what is essential and focus on achievable goals one step at a time. Kerrie has observed the profound impact of meaningful counselling that involves applying clients changing needs and preferences into treatment. By working with Narrative Healing​,​ we can effectively reframe with problem-solving strategies. As you become more resilient​,​ we can work together to address thinking patterns and behaviours and help you build hope and confidence in yourself. Additionally she understands the barriers to accessing affordable​,​ realistic and long-term counselling and is committed to a practice that empowers people to improve their emotional and social well-being on their terms. Along with in person by arrangement or by telephone and Zoom sessions we provide after care on a case by case basis. With your permission we aim to get to know you to understand your emotional needs and establish a dedicated treatment plan that also includes safety plans if needed. We are available for sppointments seven days away between 10.00am and 6.00pm. Finally at Narrative Healing​,​ we recognise the importance of ongoing support and follow-up for those who have completed their journey with us. Your counsellor will maintain monthly contact and​,​ if necessary​,​ provide additional free prevention interventions. Kerrie
