Saloni

I’m a neurodiversity-affirming, trauma-informed counsellor who believes in the beauty of difference and the strength that comes from truly being seen. I’m here to offer you a safe, compassionate space—one where you don’t have to explain or shrink yourself. Whether you’re navigating complex emotions, grief, cultural disconnection, or simply want to feel more at home in your own mind, I bring curiosity, care, and deep respect to every session. I provide online therapy that is person-centred, strength-based, and flexible to your needs. My clinical experience includes supporting individuals through grief and loss, trauma, and life transitions, including families and children on the autism spectrum and clients with ADHD. I’ve worked with culturally diverse populations, including immigrants, First Nations clients, and CALD communities—an area close to my heart as an immigrant myself. I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all therapy. Instead, I work collaboratively to co-create a holistic and creative approach that honours the uniqueness of your experience, especially for neurodivergent individuals who often don’t fit neatly into traditional frameworks. Much of what I bring to therapy is shaped by my own lived experiences with anxiety, trauma, depression, and neurodivergence. Walking my own path of healing has helped me see trauma not as a disorder, but as something held in the body—something that deserves to be met with tenderness, not shame. My personal growth continues to inform my practice, reminding me every day that therapy is not about fixing—it’s about remembering, reclaiming, and reconnecting. I don’t come with all the answers, but I do come with deep empathy, a willingness to sit with the unknown, and a strong belief in your capacity to grow.

Why the Spoony community matters to me

The Spoony community matters to me because it embodies the kind of space I believe in—where people can show up as they are, without pressure to mask or conform. In my practice, I prioritise comfort, flexibility, and support that honours each person’s unique way of thinking, feeling, and being. Everyone deserves care that meets them where they are, and I’m committed to holding space that allows for real growth, safety, and self-understanding.
